If they're from Wal-Mart, I bet they are [link=Corydoras trilineatus]http://fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/trilineatus.xml" style="COLOR: #808080[/link].

Okay then, delving into non-typical Wal-Mart territory stocking-wise...

Did they look anything like any of the following?

[link=Corydoras agassizii]http://fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/agassizii.xml" style="COLOR: #808080[/link]
[link=Corydoras sodalis]http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/callicht/corydora/120_f.php" style="COLOR: #808080[/link]
[link=Corydoras schwartzi]http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/callicht/corydora/293_f.php" style="COLOR: #808080[/link]

If not, try searching through Planet Catfish to see what you have, or post pictures here so that someone will be able to help you.

Your Wal-Mart must have a pretty good selection, that is indeed a Corydoras sodalis in the link. How large is the fish department there?

actually its kinda small limited fake plant selection, prety good live plant selection, food, meds, etc. but they r now getting in great shippments of fish, exp. bettas, corys, and angels, although the last shipment had some velvet in the angels so i declined from buying anyhting till i had my quarintine tank emptied (was a comunity tank, but upgraded to 55) so im keeping the cycle with 3 bettas, and just waiting for another black angel to come in......but how common is this cory? when i saw them i knew i had to have them, and now im just waiting for more to come in, so i can up my mottly crew(1 agassizii, 1 schwartzi, 2 sodalis) im gunna pik up another agassizii, and maybe take another peek at the schwartzies (they have quite a few of them)

Corydoras sodalis is a pretty common species around here. It is often seen in orders of Corydoras reticulatus.

I've seen them carried in only one store, the one with probably the best Corydoras selection in the entire state. They have gotten multiple shipments of this fish over the past year, so they can't be all that hard to get around here. Corydoras sodalis definitely isn't rare at all; I've seen it available from several different Internet sources.
