jase101![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Big Fish Posts: 345 Kudos: 273 Votes: 1 Registered: 06-Jul-2004 ![]() ![]() | i have 7 sterbai - 2 females, 5 males, and they have been breeding for the last 6-7 hours!!! it's so great to watch - i've never seen such cool acrobatics as they attach the eggs to the bottoms of the tiger lily leaves! they have no hope of living, as the tank is full of hungry tetras...but still very cool to have them happy enough to be breeding! |

jase101![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Big Fish Posts: 345 Kudos: 273 Votes: 1 Registered: 06-Jul-2004 ![]() ![]() | hah, i wish, sirbooks!! we own a small apartment and my tank is 6' x 15" x 22" - proportional to the fish, it's much huger than my apartment!!! i'd love to have the room for species tanks, as i've had a lot of success with fish spawning - rummy-nosed tetras, pristellas, and sterbai most recently. but a south american community tank it is, and a community tank it will stay. mind you, i will reconsider if my new royal whiptails start breeding!!! |
