	striped loach help
Fish_lover Fish Addict Posts: 742 Kudos: 176 Votes: 0 Registered: 14-Nov-2001	hey guys....ii've been havin 3 striped loach (botia striata) in my tank fer abt 3weeks now...i've researched them on the net, so i know that they often 'play-fight' among themselves....but this biting/picking at each other seems to have spread to my sterbai corys....although i can see no fin damage or unhappy cories, i'm still al lil concerned...hahahah am i over-reacting? should i provide more caves for them to hide in?

Posts: 2623 Kudos: 2462 Votes: 337 Registered: 29-Mar-2003	I don't know why they are picking and fighting, as I don't do loaches, but it could always help to add more caves and hidey holes for them to get away in...Petsmart has some coconut shells in the reptile area, that are really cheap and provide a cool place for them to hide injust be sure to boil or soak it for an extended period of time--best of luck Heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom."
