	stupid plec
ungarsaurus Fingerling Posts: 24 Kudos: 20 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Jun-2004	my pinapple plec likes to wedge himself in next to the heater, recently I've noticed a large white spot on his head. After careful observation I found this is where his head touches the heater. Why, when it burns him, would my plec choose there as a hiding spot, there are many other spots with better hiding potential and how do I stop him using that spot?

Once he realizes that there are other hiding places for him where he won't get burned, he'll hide there instead. And a heater guard will be good too, just in case. I have a rafael that did the same thing. I put a cave in the tank, and he was so used to his spot he didn't find it. So I grabbed him one day and put him in his cave. Hasn't used the heater since. Koi Empty chairs at empty tables, the room silent, forlorn.
