I have two yellowish brown catfish that i bought at the lfs. They told me they were called sun cats, but i can't find any information about them. They do not stay together like schoolers and all they want to do is hide. I am assuming that they are nocturnal b/c when i turn on the lights and catch them out, they swim off to their caves. Anyone got any info on them? Appreciate it!

ok my first post deleted both...

anyway to make things short, what is your tank size, my two suncats are huge, about 7-8 inches,

care- nothing special, just watch out for the size, and at times they can be skittish.

Already posted on this in this thread ...

Yes, Sun Cats are big (45 cm), predatory, and NOT to be trusted with anything they can swallow, which means their fellow aquarium companions will have to be large - Oscars and similarly sized big Cichlids for example!
