How fast do these grow?
How long do these live?
Read conflicting info on weither they are social to each other or not, can someone give clear info about this.
And any other info you feel like sharing would be appreciated.

OK. This is info I asked to a breeder friend of mine before. Grow kinda slow. Most only get to 3.5" or so. Livelyhood never asked but I'm guessin 8 years and up. And sociable to own kind : yes but not "really" schoalers. I had same probs as you,IE conflicting info. So I decided on S. Multi's instead. He breeds both and most his Petris hide and his Multis dont. Says his Petris dont "hang" together, pretty solo. Says they dont grow real fast(As my Multis are same). My Multis can live 10-15 years depending and are not much bigger than the Petris,IE the 8+ yrs. Hope this helps as this is not written word, but my breeder is pretty good(has small store online also). Good luck gotta love them cats

Most my catfish eat Bioblend bottomfeeder tabs, shrimp pellets, Spectrum(all purpose),and some frozen foods. I own 6 Syno Multis, 1 Syno Brichardi, 1 Syno Angelicus, and 1 Tiger Shovelnose. You should look into Multis, they rock. What size is your tank? PH so on and so forth?
