I know that they affect the water somehow, probably with their acid content (as you said). There are many better choices for a bristlenose, such as cucumber, zucchini, and sometimes even blanched lettuce, depending on whether your particular one likes it or not. Though each fish has its own food preferences, citrus fruits aren't a good choice either way. |
