would a pictus cat be ok in a 24" 15g tank? it would be the only bottom dweller.
and if the tank is big enough would a pictus be safe with mollys and plattys?

I'd say that the tank is too small. Pictus catfish grow to about eleven cm, and do like their swimming space. I'd go with a tank of at least seventy-five cm in length for these fish, especially if you want more than one.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

well then, if i cant have my pictus, (wanted one in the 75g but wendy insisted on cories) i will just have to settle for some large shrimp or maybe adf.
depends on what i see, tank wont be ready for stocking for a while and still needs to be cycled 1st.
