i just got a pair of these guys. i'm so excited! one looked really pale and sick, but my bf fell absolutely in love with it. the next week, it was still there, so we got a pair. now he's looking a lot better. the spotty pattern has darkened, but the background is still light, so he looks really interesting! i'll try to get some pics up soon. i think we have a boy and a girl...

anyone else have these guys?? any suggestions? i love them!!!! they're in a 10g with my betta girl right now, so i dont think i can fit any more, and we can't have a bigger tank right now ={ i hope they'll be ok in a pair. they look a lot better already though!

Ok, try to upgrade I reckon as they can create quite a bit of waste or move the betta into a smaller tank and keep the 10g just for the two of them. Otherwise feed flake, bloodworm and various other frozen foods. They are nocturnal so add lots of hiding spaces and they will settle in after a few weeks, sometimes months and then you should see them more often

I have 2 of these guys in my 55. They stay hidden most of the time in their cave only to come out at night to eat. However on occassion they do decide to make a special appearance during the day.

ours have actually been out a decent amount of time! i hope they stay that way. we're going to get them a better cave when money allows it. i hope they don't hide too much. they're such great little fishies!
