They kind of look like an eel with whisker looking things around it's mouth (kind of like a clown loach but a little different). Hope this helps at least a little... ![]() |

Anyone who says otherwise probably hasn't had one. Vic, your link says nothing about what they eat. [span class="edited"][Edited by SiluriformesAKA 2004-07-12 18:10][/span] |

Clowns, yoyos, B. Striata, B. morleti (skunk), puffers, and even B. modesta would rank higher in my books. |

Mine never eats any snails whatsover, and my tank is still overrun with them. My loach is kept with snails, shrimp, and crabs, and he has never eaten any of them. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

Other loaches of mine might touch snails but they won't devour them until none can be found like the others will Empty chairs at empty tables, the room silent, forlorn. |

I have 3 golden dojo loaches, and 3 dojo loaches(darker brown), which none have ever touched a snail....I also own Zebra Loaches, which will dine on snails the sec they hit the bottom of the water....We will let the others who OWN them, state whether they have had success with this loach eating on snails.....The link above just gives quick fact info, and if it was a good snail eating fish it lables it as one, scroll through the different types of loaches..... |

Pick the potato up and do what you please with it.Good luck -topher [span class="edited"][Edited by topher02 2004-07-13 22:54][/span] |
