Kuhli loaches Pangio kuhlii or the dwarf loach Botia sidthimunki would both be good choices. In both cases, you'd be able to fit four of the loaches in your tank. Loaches are social fish, so I recommend keeping as many as is plausible in a tank.

I love loaches

Ok...there is debate about the actual full size of botia sidthimunki. Very nice, active loaches though.

You could do kuhlis, which are my favorite loach They'll find hiding places...in with the plants, under the rocks or as close as possible. Once comfortable in your tank you'll see them more often. I've found them to be quite active at feeding time and afterward in the evening.

Another choice are yoyos. Interesting markings, ~4", active...they even surface feed.

The important thing with loaches is to have a group of at least three.

If you haven't yet, check out [link=Loaches Online]http://www.loaches.com/species_index.html" style="COLOR: #FFCC99[/link]; lots of good information and pictures.

Zipper loaches would be good for that size tank, and as long as you read on on them skunk loaches. One or the other naturally.
