I also have a 10 gal with a red tail loach and a weather loach (with small axlerod rainbows) . My question is would you try to catch the weather loach from the 75 to move it to the 10 or just leave it in there? |

Since you don't have many fish in your 75 gallon, I'd get that weather loach some buddies, as they fare best when they have company. I would add two more weather loaches, and keep them all in the 75 gallon. |

I think I didn't word the question right, it is are the Botia good enough company for the weather?, or dose he need to be with other weathers. Last edited by Jeremy at 01-Nov-2004 14:40 |

They would rather shoal, eat, sleep, and play with each other, than with strange-looking loaches. Two more weather loaches should be enough. The one you currently have will thank you. ![]() |

He was pretty active and seemed happy; however, when I added another one to the tank, the personality of the first weather loach completely changed. Now the two follow eachother around and play all the time. I definitely think it would be nice if you could atleast add the loach from your 10 gallon to the 75 when he gets big enough so you could at least have two together. You won't regret it!The ten gallon would probably be too small for two dojos as these guys can get pretty big and they can be pretty active. HTH!! Jen |
