Bristlenose is a gereat algae eating choice that stays smaller than most and is inexpensive. I would go with the zebtra if it is affordable to you, though.

A zebra pleco would be cool, but they are very expensive. If you can afford a fish that typically goes for over $100 though, you're in for a treat!

Other small plecos include the leopard frog, candy stripe, butterfly, bristlenose, clown, queen arabesque, and inspector plecos. They should all fit in that small tank of yours, depending on what else is in it. Also, what are you looking for in a pleco? Maybe you can help us narrow the choices down.

Firstly what is currently in your tank??

Well it comes down to what your personal tastes are.

Ask how big the ones you like and go from there.

You might find that they most won't fit in your tank
