bayara![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hobbyist Posts: 139 Kudos: 117 Votes: 14 Registered: 30-Aug-2004 ![]() ![]() | a few weeks back my lfs brought in a yellow seam pleco special for some guy - it was pretty expensive: i think something like $120 for a 3" pleco (then again - up here the fish are pretty much always overpriced...) it looked really cool! but i tried to find info on planetcatfish about it and can't find anything (i even went through all the L- numbers and didn't find one that looked similar...) anyone ever seen these and can give me some info about them? Supposedly they are quite easy to wean onto prepared foods, and will accept both meaty and vegetable matter. bayara![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hobbyist Posts: 139 Kudos: 117 Votes: 14 Registered: 30-Aug-2004 ![]() ![]() | hmmm... first off... when did they change the planet catfish website?!?! i can't find a thing in there!!! anyway after much searching, i took a look at all the peckolita species they have listed, as well as L106 and L122 and none of them look like the fish i saw... this guy was a really dark brown, almost black with really thin bright yellow stripes all over his body (bright like the gold nugget pleco is... they had one of those in there at the same time...) |
