Need to be in a school, and territorial. Make a good addition to bigger tanks, but keep cichlids for the top that are as big as the Botia and can handle themselves. Therefore, with this combination you end up with an 125 gal. |

He is a wonderful fish with great character but quite territorial and aggressive, although I don't think he can do much damage to my other fish. I think a 15 gallon is too small, and agree that he would need at least 55 gallons. |
