They love snails. I had to move them because they were trying to eat my applesnails. Loaches can't eat trumpet snails very well though because of the door on the shell and how hard they are. They'll lower the population but it takes them a long while to eat them all. They have to surprise the snails before they close the door on their shell or harass them to the point they starve in their shell. Occasionally loaches will drill holes through the shells of snails with doors but trumpet snails are much harder than applesnails. |
