![]() | yoyo loach question |

My 30gal is currently housing 9 tiger barbs and 2 clown loaches (who seem to think they're tiger barbs). I'm planning on adding 5 more tigers, but then the tank would be all orange and black stripes. Would also adding 2 yoyos be too much? Or will just 1 do (he has the clowns to hang out with, and maybe he can tell them they're loaches? ![]() Or should I just add 1 or 2 more barbs and then 2 loaches? Or just forget the loaches because that'll be too much on the biolaod already? (Tank has two power filters; I do 50% water changes every week) |

I know they seem like they are small and happy now, but they need to be kept in groups of 5-6 to be really happy, and they can grow up to a foot long. Your tank would definitely not be able to handle fish that size. What I would recommend is to take out the two clowns, and then add 3-4 yoyo loaches. That way, the clowns will be happier down the road, and you will have a nice sized group of yoyos. |

I also think that the 2 Clown Loaches will grow out your tank. :88) http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
