Does anyone know what the average life expectancy for an angel fish is?

Just curious as mine are getting on for 5 years old now.

Yeah i had a look on wikipedia today and it said it was about 10 years but there are cases of them living up to 20.

I think you will find the answer would be the quality of life and very litle bad luck passed their way.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Yeah i figured that their quality of life will obviously affect their life expectancy but I was wondering if anyone here had any first hand experience that could give me a rough guidline.

Reason I'm asking is I'm off to uni in september and I think my parents want to get rid of them so they can combine mine and my brothers tanks but doesn't look like they'll be dying anytime soon
