For angels, this would be a decent sized tank for a mated pair. Of course, the trick is aquiring a mated pair... If you can buy a proven pair from a local breeder, that would be wonderful, or Aquabid.com has a huge number of breeders who sell pairs periodically. If you can't find a pair, just buy one. They are too large and territorial to have more than two in such a small space.

Unfortunately, a pair of Angels makes for a pretty full tank, so some heavy-duty filtration and frequent water changes will be necessary if you get both corys and tetras.
(I tend to overstock, or at least heavily stock my tanks, and I don't have problems with the excess bio-load, so don't worry too much as long as you're aware of the increased risk of high ammonia and nitrates and take care of your tank accordingly)

I'd go with a small species of cory, like pandas, but not the dwarf cories--that's too small. A group of 6 should be good.
As for the tetras, get a larger species--so no cardinals. Rummy-nose tetras tend to look great with angels, or I've recently fallen in love with Diamond tetras, which may not look spectacular in the stores, but once you get them home and make them happy, they have beautiful violet/green highlights and sparkly scales. Again, a group of 6 would be fine.

That makes for a very fully stocked 29 gal. tank... Broad leaved plants like swords or anubias should be easy to care for and the angels might use them for breeding. They will also provide cover for the shy corys and timid tetras.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...
