This might give it more flow towards the right rather than cut it short. It also could make the tank look longer. Just give it a try it might look OK or better as it was. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith ![]() ![]() Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I definitely want to keep the lava rock on the left because it seems more natural than the one on the right. Which is why I put it behind all the other rocks. I am thinking about splitting the lava stone on the right in half and seeing what I come up with. Here's what I came up with. ![]() I like it a little better. Thanx for the replies and votes from earlier. By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher. So far i don't think they care which setup I use. By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher. I am, however, puzzled as to the nature of these rocks. Having grown up over the years learning to avoid brightly coloured rocks on the basis that some of them harbour minerals that won't be a happy mix with aquarium fishes, I tend to go with bland looking ones that I know won't contain any surprises. What sort of rocks are these? The red ones in particular make my antennae twitch as it were ... ![]() |

I have 2 females holding right now, another tank full of labs & zebra redtops and there are a few survivors in this tank of the last batch that I didn't remove which looks like maybe 4 labs and 3 red tops. Anyways, the redstones are simply lava rocks, which I originally got to help buffer the water. Most of the brown ones are pagoda stone with the exception of one local lake rock which is on the right side. I'm not sure what the gray stones are.
