	Cichlid suggestions
dupja Small Fry Posts: 12 Kudos: 16 Votes: 0 Registered: 10-Feb-2012	Hi all, I am thinking of having a south american cichlid tank. I have a 29 gallon tank that I am now in the process of cycling. I am thinking of having semi-aggressive fish. Any suggestions on what fish I might get for the size of my tank?

superlion Mega Fish Posts: 1246 Kudos: 673 Votes: 339 Registered: 27-Sep-2003	South American cichlids tend to be either very peaceful or very aggressive, so this is a tougher question than it seems, to find one that is semi-agressive for you. As a general suggestion, you might look into the acaras, as some of them are more in-between in temperament, and appropriate in size for your 29-gallon tank. ><>

A 29 gallon tank is kinda small for most of them and the suggestion was for you to check the Acaras as they will fit the bill... I'd go with the dwarfs ... Simply search on the word "Acaras" as I did and you will find 10+ pages of information.
