I bought a big container of food made by Ocean Nutrition. The bottle is called Formula Two and it says:

"A fresh seafood mix including (salmon fillets, Euphausia pacifica plankton, squid, salmon eggs and.or salmon egg oil, Euphausia superba plankton and/or krill hydrolysate, marine algae, sea clams, kelp, herring, adult brine shrimp, and brine shrimp nauplii), Spirulina, MPAX™ (Marine Protein Amino eXtract: fish meals, hydrolysate, and select amino acids (arginine, histidine, isoeucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, cystine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine), wheat flower, egg, lecithin, magnesium sulfate, vitamin premix (ascorbic acid, stabilized vitamin C, dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate, d-pantothenic acid, riboflavin, niacin, menadione, folacin, cholecalciferol, biotin, thiamin, retinol, pyridoxine, and cyanocobalamin), carotenoid pigments (canthaxanthin and/or astaxanthin), artificial color, and preservative (ethoxyquin)."

My question is: Is this good for my Discus? I have 1 snakeskin, 1 leopard snakeskin, 1 red turk, 1 super red marboro and 1 cobalt blue. The product claims to make the colors more vibrant as well.

I feed mine bloodworms and it likes them just fine. I guess you can try it out, but I think that stuff is inteded for marine fish not freswater. I'm not sure though.

not being an expert on food, it sounds healthy, try it out, I highly doubt it could hurt.

and nemo, discus should be offered a variaty of food, not just blood worms.

formula two by o.n. is for marine herbivores. try the same brands frozen discus formula or cichlid omni flakes.

Feed your discus:
Quality flake or bits such as TetraMin, TetraBits or the equivalent
Frozen bloodworm (mosquito larva)
Frozen beef heart (beef heart)
Frozen brine or mysis shrimp
Live blackworms

You should try to vary your discus diet to provide maximum nutrition. At the same time, the fish either get picky or just eat food that they recognize. You can boost their appettite by increasing temperature and increasing the number of fish in your tank. The higher temp raises their metabolism and the greater the number of fish whets their competitive edge is chasing down food.

Live blackworms are a little controversial because they remind people of tubifex another aquatic worm that has a nasty reputation for pathogens. Blackworms are a separate genera. The problem is that your discus will love them and want only blackworms.

Many people swear by beefheart. I find the commercial mixes will quickly pollute your tank and avoid feeding it.
