The Larger one of them seems not to be doing fine He is rapid breathing, and spent almost all the day hiding behind the heater, checked Ammonia & NO2 to avoid any minicycle, both are in 0, so just have to wait and see????, it's hard qhen you can't do nothing Hector |

If there is not much it might be a good idea to increase it. You can do this by adding an airstone or if you have a HOB filter of cannister reducing the water level a little. This will increase oxygen levels in the water. If you think you already have good water movement then perhaps the new fish are a little stressed about being moved to a new home. If they werent in great condition when you got them then the one that is behaving shyly could be taking more time than the others to settle. I hope they feel more at home soon. ![]() Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

They are fine, spawning every one to two weeks and they eat like there is no tomorrow. So don't let the rapid breathing throw you. They are also known to be a little shy, mine are not but I've heard from others that they are. Hope they do well for you. |

About water Movement and O2, I've an Ac filter, and an sponge filter in the tank, so I think it is not an issue |

It's better to give them time to acclimate to the store's water. This would be even better advice for Rams with their reputation for frailness. |

It might have had something to do with the stress of being shipped to the LFS, staying at the LFS briefly and then being moved again out of their tanks and into yours without time to adjust all in the same 24 hour time period. |
