They like to be kept in small groups and the minimum for that would be a 125g. |

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

Those Samazi look just like it I think I might go with one of those. How may of those could I put in my 55 gal? Also so they get the bump on their foreheads also? Thanks for the help Last edited by tank77 at 21-Feb-2005 09:59 |

The cyps will provide lots of beautiful color and the Steatocranus (aka Buffalo head cichlid) get a nice sized nuchal hump. ![]() ![]() |

tank77![]() Hobbyist Posts: 59 Votes: 5 Registered: 11-Feb-2005 ![]() ![]() | Thanks for the info I like the buffalo head cichlid. If I got a pair of Buffalo head cichlids how many would be a school for the Cyprichromis leptosoma? Could anything else go in like bootom feeders? Thanks again ![]() Last edited by tank77 at 21-Feb-2005 22:39 Last edited by tank77 at 21-Feb-2005 22:40 |

For instance the Steatocrannus will prefer neutral to slightly acidic water while the Cyps prefer basic water. So, you should be fine doing something in the 7.2-7.6ish range. ![]() ![]() |
