Maybe you should try some live food if you want them to eat. Just a suggestion...

Try throwing in a small, very small amount of bloodworm or brine shrimp with some pellets. That'll get them started feeding and when the worms or shrimp are gone they may go after the pellets. I was able to do this with an oscar I got from a friend that wouldn't eat anything but live crickets. I fed 1 cricket and three cichlid sticks. It took a couple days but he finally got to liking the sticks. I also do this with angel fry when I wean them off live baby brine shrimp and onto crushed flake.

Good luck, Mike

What were they fed before you got them? If they were fed live food alot by the previous owner then it may take some time for you to get them eating what you want them to. Dont feed them live/frozen food all the time, its not healthy. Try and find out from the person you got them from what brand of pellet/dry food they were feeding them. Maybe you should invest in some of what they were feeding. Otherwise starve them til they eat what you want them to! Be sure to clean up any food thats uneaten until they get the idea.

Keep us updated.

If your really worried about them starving, try some brine shrimp for the moment.

I feed mine just pellets, an imported chinese brand.

Try garlic gaurd, I've heard some good comments about this product.

Stay off worms, breeders here said they arent reccomended as it messes up the intestinal system (even though others differ).

Like Lindy said, fish are creatures of habit. If they were fed live/frozen food b4 u got them, then that will be their preferred meal. You can try to ween them onto other foods, but dont worry about them starving if they are eating those frozen foods you mentioned.

also, how long have you had them? has this happened just since they arrived? if so, they most likely will need some time to settle after the move (depending how long ago this was!)
