Angels are cichlids, though they are pretty peaceful. They will eat just about any type of food they are offered, so feeding them isn't a problem. They are usually very good with tankmates and each other, though their fins will be nipped by certain fish. Angelfish eventually grow to six inches or so in length, and about eight inches tall. That being so, it is best to keep them in at least a 20 gallon tall tank, for adult specimens.

That's just a little bit of overall information, since I don't know what you are looking for. What size tank are you planning to put these fish in, and with what fish?

Three isn't a very good number for angels, usuall two will pair off and the other will be picked on to death. Given this scenario, a good thing to do would be to get a 29G and see which two pair off then return the last to the lfs when he starts getting picked on. The 29G is good for angels because it is a tall tank, andd angels are tall fish.

Also angels like planted tanks, IME with driftwood and everything. You can buy fake plants and they won't really know the difference.

Since you already have the fish and no established tank to put them in I'd suggest trying to find some Biospira or Cycle and dose accordingly(to your new tank).

Please take the fish out of the bags and put them into a bucket until you get a tank set up for them, this way new oxygen can diffuse into the water and they can breathe.

I have flame tetras, 1 gourami, platies, guppies, 1 danio, White cloud minnows, cory cats, and ottos--- of course not all in the same tanks. These fish are distributed amongst 2 10 gallons and 1 29 gallon all of which are cycled. So what do you suggest I do. These are relatively small (quarter-sized) fish.

It sounds like you really want to keep them.
If you do keep them you need to be prepared at a later stage to get them a larger tank. I agree with what has been said earlier too, 3 is not a good number for these fish.
For now I would put them in the 29g. (unless it is already stocked to the max) What is in there now?

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

My brother-in-law wants me to take his 1 full grown angel for my community tank. I told him, sorry, but I don't want my school of rummies to become fish food.

Now to your questions, a 29 gallon should be fine for a while, but you will need a bigger tank soon. Additionally, other then 1, 3 is probaly the worst number of angels you could have. Once you get a bigger tank you should add 2 or 3 more.

In my 29 gallon aquarium I have only a school of flame tetras(they are quite large, so there should be no problem with the angels). I also have a few ottos and 2 white clouds. I shall have plenty of room. The 29 is densely planted. Is that ok?

That should be fine. None of the fish are small enough to be eaten, and they aren't nippy, either. The angels should do okay in there, at least for a while.
What the others said is true (I forgot about it:%)), a pair of angelfish will pick on a lone angel.

I shall purchase 1 more small angel, so that the third will not be pecked to death althoug all three hang along relatively close harmoniously. Thank you for your help on short notice I owe you all one.

Take it many fish aquction will give 25$ plus for a healthy full grown angel. Your petstore may take it for around 10 if there in to buying fish. And if your not into fish aquctions then well he may just have to keep it.
