alright..thanks! I will give that a shot

actually...does the number of Discus in a tank matter their mood on eating?

Try turning the heat up to 30. Mine are normally at 29-30. Try doing frequent water changes, say 20 per cent daily for four days. See if that will stimulate them. Dont worry too much about the bullying unless it gets really agressive, then you nay have to seporate them. Good luck

I just got 3 Discus (planning to get my last one soon) in my 55g with some cories and tetras...they are about 7cm in size.

My problem is that 2 of the 3 doesn't seem to eat and shy but the other one is eating and respond to me for food already. So I just want to ask how do I turn all of them into eating machines?

I feed them Sera Discus granu, frozen bloodworm as well as normal tropical fish flakes (Sera San, GVG Mix).

Still the same...just tried some Discu forzen mix today...but they dun seem to like it even for the one which is eating already. The other two just show no interest at all.

However....one of the fuzzy eater (a Pigeon)...chased my Neons for a while to try have a snack on them......but none were caught by her...

they are in the tank for about 4 days now....the tank has rocks and wood, so I am sure they have places to hide.

How long has it been in the tank? Do you have places for it to hide? What are you trying to tempt it with?

But usually how long does a discus in such size will take to feel better in new environment?

I am just worried that they will be starved to death before they feel like to eat...lol..what a contradiction

Dont worry it will eat when it feels secure. It's probably just a bit shy of it's new set up. let us know how things go. Try some frozen discus fit its discus chocolate LOL
