 | Minum discus tank height |
djtj  Fish Master Posts: 1764 Kudos: 885 Votes: 49 Registered: 20-Feb-2003   | I was thinking of getting a custom tank that has the footprint of a 120, but is only 12 inches tall? Is this tall enough for a pair of discus? If not, how high should I make it? |

Hirsty   Fish Addict Posts: 792 Kudos: 24 Votes: 8 Registered: 21-Dec-2000  | 18" is still a little too short in my opinion these fish can get quite happily to 10" high so less gravel of about 2" that leaves 6" in hight left (not much for a big fish) i'd go higher if it's a custom tank.
