i bought a mated pair of black convicts, and also got some babies, from a lfs about 3 months ago. and they stopped breeding.

now is it that they dont breed when the baby fry are still in the tank? but really what happened, they are still together, and the female is real fat, but they are not breeding.

Has the tank decor changed recently? Do the share the tank with any fish? What tank size is it? (answer this, you never do.) ) Are they acting differently to normal?

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

they are a small pair, male about 2-3 inches, female 2 inches, and they are in a 20 long breeding tank.

the only thing in the tank is a flower pot, and large rock. and nothing has been changed(no gravel)

no other fish, but 1 or 2 old fry swimming around.

Water changes and slight overfeeding. Convicts tend to breed when theres an abundance of food. With fry in the tank, they may think there isnt enough food to go around if they breed again.
