i have purchased a small oscar (2in). And im am woried that it is sick. all It does is either sit at the bottom or stay up top near the filters. My ammonia and nitrites are 0 and my nitr@tes are 15-20. The fishes colors look ok but im woried that it might be sick or if it is just stress since i just got it from the lfs. @ll help will be greatly appreciated.

How long have you had it? Oscars can be very moody fish and take longer to settle into a new tank than what others do. He's probably just getting used to the new environment and will be right in a few days. Find out what he was fed at the shop you bought it from and try feeding the same. It might make him snap out of it.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Just give it more time to settle & then post us again with the outcome. Be patient & give it more time to settle in it's new home.

He/she's most likely stressed. I've had a couple of them before.
Yes, they are very moody.
They like to play with plants and things. One of mine used to like to play with a ping pong ball. Buy one and clean it off with a wet rag and toss it in. The curiosity will get the better of him. :%)
