Oscar with Ick | |
Nick Fish Addict 33 Posts: 553 Kudos: 668 Votes: 509 Registered: 09-Aug-2004 | recommended medications?.....its been a while since I had a fish with Ick, and I used to use Coppersafe for it. Is that ok for an Oscar? Is there a better solution? Just introduced to the tank (55 gallon)2 days ago, hes the only occupant. |

You will have to treat the entire tank. Taking out the oscar and placing it in a smaller still leaves the parasite in the larger tank. I looked up treating an Oscar with that specific medication and found a caution.
