Thanks in advance note: btw I live in central Indiana if that makes a differance |

If you're in Indy then check out any of the [link=Uncle Bill's stores]http://www.unclebills.com/" style="COLOR: #FF0000[/link]. There's one in Greenwood in a shopping center right across from the Greenwood Park Mall. There's another on East Washington street which I believe is next to a Toys R Us. There is also one on West 38th Street a few blocks west of I 65. If you don't like Uncle Bill's then you should check out either the Reef on 56th and Keystone or the Pet Corral (I think is what it's called now) further south on Keystone about a block or 2 south of Hanna Ave. Any of these places will carry firemouths and blue acaras. For the firemouths I'd personally recommend the 38th st. Uncle Bill's. I've seen several very nicely colored specimens in there.By the way, I live in Columbus, IN which is about 45 min. south of Indy and I now work in Greenwood right next to the Uncle Bill's. ![]() |

I've been to that uncle bills your talking about for some livebearers, didn't see too many cichlids there but I wasn't really checking. Ill look into that. Thanks for the info, ill check that out. |

The reef is a great store with a very nice selection though the fish are, imo, a bit overpriced. The guy who owns the Reef used to also own the Pet Corral on South Keystone and I worked there for him for a few months before he resold that store back to the original owner. The Pet corral on South keystone still has some very nice cichlids that I picked up for them at their distributor. Last time I was there they still had true festae, Geophagus sp. 'bahia red' (a very pretty cichlid), Gymnogeophagus rhabdotus, Vieja regani, Vieja synspilus and I can't remember what else. If you're interested in any of these I'll bet they'll cut you a deal cause they can't sell them. Apparently there is very little market in Indy for rare CA/SA ciclids. ![]() ![]() |

Just make sure you look at the seller's feedback and feel free to ask lots of questions. All of the fish I've received have been very healthy perfect specimens. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |
