I just got a new discus. You can see pics of him in the photo booth. What sex is he? Also I am currently feeding my fish Freeze Dried Bloodworms and flakes. What do discus like to eat

Looks like a nice red turquoise about 1.5 to 2 inches. He will readily take flake food but Tetra Bits will bring out his colors very nicely. He will love frozen bloodworms as will your angels and the ram. Frozen bloodworms are mosquito larvae.

I only saw one discus in the tank and they do best in groups of at least five.

he'll take all manner of fresh, live, frozen and good quality flake foods. a lot of shops sell good quality frozen "discus dinner" which is great too. ditto to the comment re: best in groups - he will fret and die on his own, methinks - i've never had less than 7 together, tho of course breeders keep pairs together and i've got a buddy with three who seem to do ok...but you're risking a short unhappy life for him if he doesn't have buddies...it's also not wise to house him with angels, as they can harbour internal parasites and pathogens that will kill yr discus...
