But what my question is none of the cichlids are the same, and I have had them for awhile, is it possible that they could have made the babys, and are they ok to leave in the tank (i tryed to remove then once but they re really quick, and i couldn't catch them) they swim around in the open sometimes and the other fish just ignore them. thanks |

You can leave & let them grow there. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

They're better at surviving and you would probably have noticed the male ram protecting his eggs if they'd had any. Most times you may not notice a female cichlid carrying eggs until the fry are swimming around. James |
