About a week ago I noticed 2 baby fish in my tank, it is a 75 gallon tank with 2 blue rams, 4 assorted african cichlids, 1 gold fish (was a feeder that survived), 1 chinesse algea eater, and 1 ruber pleco.

But what my question is none of the cichlids are the same, and I have had them for awhile, is it possible that they could have made the babys, and are they ok to leave in the tank (i tryed to remove then once but they re really quick, and i couldn't catch them) they swim around in the open sometimes and the other fish just ignore them.
thanks

could be crossed fro the africans, but if they are safe, and no one goes after them sounds good to leave them there,

but watch out for the CAE, as they tend to get agressive as they age.

Probably they're a cross bread of the African Cichlids or Rams.
You can leave & let them grow there.

My vote is for the cichlids. They're better at surviving and you would probably have noticed the male ram protecting his eggs if they'd had any. Most times you may not notice a female cichlid carrying eggs until the fry are swimming around.

sounds like little hybrids to me,watch how much they change colour with age,i had 1 hybrid go from a yellowy colour(looking like mum)completely change to blue(looking like dad) when i put him in with other aggresive fish.i wouldnt worrie to much,if they have come this far on there own id say they will be ok.u would be surprised just how fast these guys are,and the tiny places they can get into.good luck with em.
