It's going to depend a lot on what you want. Do you want to set up a rocky background with lots of caves and holes? In that case, Rift lake is the way to go, maybe with brightly colored mbuna, or a tanganyikan tank with a big blue frontosa as the focal fish. Or perhaps you prefer fish from the Americas? I suggest you look through the profiles for the kind of cichlids you like best. You'll get more useful answers if you give us an idea of what you're interested in. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |

So a community tank with a pair of chichlid if possible. These are the ones I like Keyhole Black convict Pearl chichlid Festivum and Bolivian ram I was thinking of keeping them with Giant danios Tiger barbs or Skirt tetras Last edited by sweetruben at 12-Oct-2005 12:07 Last edited by sweetruben at 12-Oct-2005 12:09 |

Danios, barbs, even tetras would also do well in that tank, and since it's reasonably large, you can have large schools of each. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |

Im sorry for all the questions I just want to make sure I have a well planned aquarium. How big should my schools be? I dont want to overstock it. |
