i recently upgraded from a 5 ft tank to a 6 ft. i ahve water in it for 2weeks and fish in there for 1 but with in the last few days it has stared to go very merky i cleaned it yesterday but it is still cloudy after 24 hrs. the filkter which i am not use to is an overflow one in the corner with filter wool and bio balls the lady at lfs assure me that it will keep it clean but i never thought it would should i add something to the filter buy an exrta cannister filteror please help. thanx 7puke14

Sounds like you better start saving very quickly and get a good Canister Filter. I suggest at least an Eheim 2026 for 350 lt or a 2028 for the 600lt I am running the 2026 for my 5ft tank.

A better filter is a must when upgrading tanks & as Keith said, Eihem have very good filters.

your a quick fis go down to your lfs and buy a powerhead filter. 700l/hr for around $50(aus).

i like the peunguin biowheel series but i am not sure what size you would need. they do a great job except the make a annoying poping sound every once in a while and it is perfectly normal i was told
