I wouldn't put Frontosas in a 120g tank. It's too small for them.

Even if the tank was large enough the Red Devils IMO would be far to aggresive for The Fronts. Fronts are peaceful fish, even considered to be shy.

I also don't recommend mixing American and African cichlids. Their water requirements are too different.

A 120 is fine for a small group of fronts. I know dozens that are being bred in 100+ gal tanks. Just be sure to keep up on your water changes.

As for the red devils, well they are a dime a dozen. The best thing I can tell you, is the most you are likely to get for them is somewhere around 1/3 the retail price.

i recommend a 6ft for "Full" grown Fronts because they should be kept in groups of around 6+.
120g are usually only 4ft

Yes, they can be kept in 120g (or less) but usually no more than 2 maybe 3 "Full" grown Fronts.
You can keep a group of Juvenile Fronts. It just means that you gotta find a larger tank for them sometime in the future.

I advise against keeping red devils with frontosas. They have very different water requirements. To have a good size colony of frontosas, aswell as the red devils, it would make the tank a but small for them all.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Really, ok thats good then

most 120g are 4ft but you have a 6ft
Sorry about that, i was assuming that it was a 4ft. In a 6ft 120g you would easily be able to fit a group of Frontosas. Around 5 i think would be a good number.

Good luck with your tank
