Posts: 1507 Kudos: 1350 Votes: 730 Registered: 25-Apr-2001	If you are getting a breeding pair of convicts then I'd have an emergency removal tank for the others because all those fish listed will have trouble surviving once convicts reach maturity. Catfish I would be cautious about selection as most are bottom dwellers and could appear to be a threat to any breeding attempts to the cons. Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I have one, it's lived with giant danios, Odessa barbs, a BN, and cories with no problems. I'd be concerned though if you have a pair and they breed. jaloco Hobbyist Posts: 62 Kudos: 65 Votes: 0 Registered: 23-Mar-2005	just saying its could get ugly. convicts are pretty mean alone without a mate, when they are breeding they get real nasty. they kill oscars when breeding so they could make some easy work of some of those fish you mentioned.
