	water conditioner for Discus
Week End Big Fish Posts: 414 Kudos: 436 Votes: 1 Registered: 16-May-2004	I used to use a salt based water conditioner for my freshwater community setup which addes some minerals and adjust the gh. Does a Discus setup need to have something like this? And if I will be using some other trace elements additives such as "Seachem Discus Trace", does any other salt based conditioner needed at all?

gauntlet Enthusiast Posts: 240 Kudos: 277 Votes: 8 Registered: 21-Jan-2004	Is the conditioner used to dechlor the water or ad trace elements back into the water? If so on option 2, I use Discus Essentials once a month to help with any lost minerals in the water.
