Wfish Hobbyist Posts: 58 Kudos: 25 Votes: 18 Registered: 30-Jan-2005 | I have some relatives who got a pond about a year ago. The pond is 200 gallons, and has a little bit of an algae bloom. We sometimes hear a frog there, too. My question is: they want to put some goldfish in. What are some easier varieties, both fancy and non-fancy, and how many can fit in the pond? |

bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 | you never ever really want to mix fancy and non fancy goldfish together. i think that koi and comets and commons will get to big for a 200 gallon. it would be great to know the weather by u? is this an all year around pond, so the right fancy goldfish can be decided. my guess would be a red cap school. |
