I live in Montreal(Quebec, Canada) where it get pretty cold in the winter, I want a 2-3 Feeder GoldFish. How deep would my pond have to be for the fish to survive, my dad said he could cover to pond to add about 10deggres() to the pond, the coldest it gets is 29celcius sometimes more, would gold fish survive in these waters? Also as I poseted in another post, I have a pool, we close our pools in early september and i would only need to add the fish in late october, so the chlorine will be long gone, there just wont be any filter and it will be uncycled. Will goldfish eat plants??? Or destroy potted plants? the pool is 9feet deep. IS there anyother fish I can put in my pond that can go in my 20G during the winter? Something that you can see from above the water. 10gallon: 8neons 5gallon: 1betta 1oto 2platys |
