	Danio Issue
JBennett181 Hobbyist Posts: 70 Kudos: 46 Votes: 2 Registered: 10-Jan-2008	i just added some new plants to the tank and i noticed one of my danios at the top of the tank. i looked closer and it looked like he had barbels coming out of his mouth. there tiny and thin and hes been at very top of tank for a while..what should i do,should i take him out and check it out? i like feesh

superlion Mega Fish Posts: 1246 Kudos: 673 Votes: 339 Registered: 27-Sep-2003	Danios, being cyprinids, have barbels. They're perfectly normal and part of the fish's body. No need to panic. You probably didn't see them before because they're tiny, and sometimes the fish holds them close to the mouth. ><>
