Are RTBS known at all for eating algae? I've had mine for only a few months, but I've noticed it frequently cleans plants, rocks, and even algae on the glass.

His hiding place is a cave he shares with a BN, so maybe if they aren't usually algae eaters the plec's influence rubbed off

My RTBS does the same thing, although I am not sure if it is actually eating the algae as I still have to clean it off the glass every week.

I'm pretty sure it's probably nibbling at it, just nothing like a BN or oto would do

My RTBS are always grazing over the plants and the DW.
