mine doesnt have the white tips on its top fin and the bottom fin, is it going to die??

I have seen some with it and some with out it. I think you will be just fine either way.

That reminds me of my very first RTBS I was worried about the little white tip on the top fin. It took me ages to find the answer (no WWW in those days).
Most of the RTBS I see today have that white tip marking.

As far as I can remember, my RTB did not get her white tip until she was mature. Could be yours is just young and it will come in (or out?) later on under good conditions.

I thought the light tip indicated itz maturity level and as it grew older the white tip on both the top fin and the tail went away?!?!? But mine has a tip on both and as it gets older itz getting darker and darker
