they all look nice but perhapes over stocked
especially with 4 oscars and all thos other agressive fish
maybe you'd like to cut thing down a bit

are you going to have it planted? might be a fair effort to do a 250G, i still havn't got the guts and money to do that
but will look stunning with your peaceful layout.

if you are not going to plant it, i like the agressive idea better

good luck!!!

I think the first stocking list has too many bottom feeders. I'm sure a 250g is huge, but 8 clown loaches, at about 10 inches full grown will take up alot of room. Not to mention the other loaches and the cories. I would do the clowns and then either the candy loaches or the cories. If you go with cories I would do a bigger group, maybe 10-12, since they are smaller.

I would also only have 2-3 bns. They aren't that big, but you would have to have alot of algae and driftwood for each of them. I would be afraid of 1-2 of them being starved.

Why don't you add a big school of tetras in there. A huge Rummynose school would look awesome. You could have 12+.

Oh, and its ANGEL...not angle. Plant the tank pretty heavily so the angels won't have aggression issues.

I agree that the first stocking has way too many bottom-dwelling fish, and the aggressive list probably wouldn't work even in a tank that size. For one, the green terrors are so prolific that if you had a breeding pair they'd fill up that tank in a year or less. With a tank this size, you should visit www.monsterfishkeepers.com and look at some of the stocking lists over there. Some of them are pretty insane, but many of the members there have some wonderful large tanks full or predators. Ask them about what works and what doesn't.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...
