The Pictus is it the Pictus Catfish they certainly prefer to be kept in groups of 3+ and also can get big very quickly and would not be suitable for a tank that small and they any fish that can fit into their mouths. Both those fish will require a 5ft tank at least, with plenty of plants and driftwood caves. Exactly what is the Catfish Algae eater if you are not sure please post a photo. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
