Anyway, it is a big box and i am currently out... All thats left is really fine crushed salt, almost like a poweder. Now i am waiting for my order, and wondering if i can use the powder salt or is it no good anymore.

Yeah, should be fine. It's the same thing, only crushed a bit more. Since you're going to dissolve it (I would hope), it won't be any different.

Unless it's been contaminated with something salt is salt. Whether it's in chunks, a solid block, or fine powder it's still salt and works the same. Aside from the fact larger pieces take longer to dissolve than fine grains.

To start of with salt regardless of its type or usage is usually in larger pieces and it is ground to suit its purpose eg salt grinders in the kitchen. As mentioned as long as it is ot contaminated it will be perfectly safe to use.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

A different grain size will mean that you get more or less per scoop, so if you are measuring it by volume and not weight or SG, use LESS of the powder than you would of the chunks.
