	Aquarium Salt

Anyway, it is a big box and i am currently out... All thats left is really fine crushed salt, almost like a poweder. Now i am waiting for my order, and wondering if i can use the powder salt or is it no good anymore.

Whether it's in chunks, a solid block, or fine powder it's still salt and works the same. Aside from the fact larger pieces take longer to dissolve than fine grains.

Posts: 9662 Kudos: 5261 Registered: 16-Sep-2001	A different grain size will mean that you get more or less per scoop, so if you are measuring it by volume and not weight or SG, use LESS of the powder than you would of the chunks.
