hello, new to the site been in the hobby for many years, in a 29 gal tank i have i seem to have the start of what looks to be black beard gorwing on hygros and even some of the taller ferns , only noticed it maybe 2 weeks ago , aside from adding fish would anyone have and experience that might have solved the issue without the obvious removal of plants , bleach, new algea fish dose it make sence to do a black out for BBA or does BBA live off the nutrients and not rely on the light , from my understanding BBA is a byproduct of the plants not competing enought for nutrients. anyone have any off the wall but reasonable suggestions?
