How long was your tank cycled? What size tank is it? What is your filtration? How is it stocked? Do you know your water parameters? If so post them here. If you don't have a test kit you can have it tested at your LFS.

How much lighting do you have and how long is it on each day? Your cloudiness could be caused by any number of factors so the more info you can provide the better.

You didn't mention if you have lighting on the tank and how long if you do the lights are on daily. You could be experiencing a small algae bloom. You mentioned that there is a slight tint to the water. Is it greenish colored or is it like looking through a fog?

Do you have any driftwood in your tank? This can cause a tinting of the water due to tannins being released.

How long has your fish been in the tank? The entire cycle period? What type of fish is it? How much are you feeding daily and what do you feed? It's possible that if you are overfeeding it could be caused by this.

How often are you doing water changes? Last year, the day after a water change I would get a yellow cloudy water. All my test were fine. Its very weird. I think it was a city water issue. Chemmie Pure helped clean it up.

Your tank should have cycled by now. If you have only one fish I would suggest a few Zebra Danios to help it a long. Live plants do help. One thing that has not been asked what Gravel/Substrate do you have and did you wash and rewash it until it was perfectly clear running water.
If you dont particually want to have planted live plants I suggest a little bit of ploating water sprite this will also help the cycling process if it is still a problem.

Another test fill a glass of tap water leave it overnight to see if it is clear if not contact your water supply as ther could be a problem there

If you are new to fish keeping you could still be over feeding. Cut the feeding by half and every second day.

Filterlization what do you have and how often also how do you clean it.

There is a product on the market calledc GEO Liquid it might work it is expensive but could be worth think about if you have dirt particals in your water supply.
