Heyyyy

So for my new 20 g I was thinking of having a tanl with 3 Ballooon Mollies, 6 Ottos, Some ghost Shrimp, Snails, A adf or 2.. or 5.. And 2 Dwarf Guaramis. Sound ok? I know the Guarami may eat the ghosties.. but thats a risk im willing to take. Its gonna be heavily planted. Is it to much for a 20? The ottos stay small.. .

This sounds like the exact same question you have asked in getting started or is it a totally different tank set up?

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Hi ham! lets see here, all of these fish grown to be around two inches, excpet the mollies, they seem to get around 3 inches long. I think if kept in small enough groups, but not too small as to where they are uncomfortable, you may be able to pull it off! Also what type of snail(s)?

The snails at the LFS are.. trumpets of some sort, or apple's, either way shouldn't be a problem.

As For Inches of fish it would be somethink like..
3 Balloon Mollies~6
6 ottos~12
2 dwarf Guramis~4
All the other stuff~
But in reality just the ottos and ' All the other stuff ' can stay in a 10. So things should be alright

I have only had ottos out of your picks but if you do put six in there, you will have to make sure you feed them really well or they will starve to death quickly. It's most noticeable when I have them in my quarantine tank, because I let the algae grow for a few months before getting an otto, but even one otto by itself will clean a heavily algaed 10g tank in about a week. I really like them just make sure you feed them frequently for they have big appetites.

29g - 5 Head and Tail Light Tetras, 1 Black Phantom Tetra, 1 melanistius cory, 1 Featherfin Synodontis, 1 otto
29g - 14 harlequin rasboras, 5 albino corys, 3 ottos
10g - 1 glowlight tetra, 2 Black phantom tetras, 1 red betta on entertainment center
